Ÿ OCKED will work with
investment organizations and administrative agencies to market
Oregon investment opportunities to venture capital partners of
the nation’s top 50 funds.
This action would also ensure venture capital
investment includes governance and management team building
expertise as well as capital.

SB
362, introduced during the 2003 State legislative session,
would have established a personal income tax exemption to a)
qualified senior level venture capital partners that relocate
to Oregon and invest at least $2M per year in Oregon
businesses and b) qualified senior level researchers with
significant experience in large commercialized research
efforts. SB 362 passed the Senate (21-6), but was not acted
upon in the House.
