Steering Committee Chairs Praises State Lawmakers 

In an opinion piece published in The Oregonian on September 17, Oregon Business Plan Steering Committee Chair Richard Reiten lauded the accomplishments of the 2003 State Legislature.  

Reiten, chairman of Northwest Natural Gas, noted that "On some key economic issues, our elected leaders in Salem achieved more in seven months than we sometimes see in a decade of legislative sessions." Read the full commentary.
