The Oregon Business Plan Short List -- a list of action items for State
Legislators to approve before adjournment -- was released today by the Oregon
Business Plan Steering Committee. The recommendations stem from the 2005
Business Plan initiatives adopted in January and cover issues ranging from
public finance to education to transportation. The OBP Steering
Committee is composed of leaders representing the state's major businesses and
business associations.

While not exhaustive of all the issues before the Legislature, completion
of the Short List would represent major economic progress for Oregon.
